Ready to become a published author?

Bookbound, founded by author, speaker, investor, and former media executive Fran Hauser, helps aspiring authors transform their ideas into published books.

Hi, I’m Fran.

Since writing and launching two bestselling and highly acclaimed books, The Myth of the Nice Girl and Embrace the Work, Love Your Career, I’ve helped countless authors launch their own.

In addition to my experience in book publishing, I’ve been involved in dozens of businesses over the years, both as a startup investor and a media executive. When I was working on my first book, it struck me that there are many similarities between pitching a startup to investors and proposing a nonfiction book to agents and publishers. Whether it’s a business or a book, demonstrating strong product/market fit, distinct competitive advantages, and a compelling “why you/why now?” narrative are all critical parts of a successful pitch.

I bring this unique perspective to every book project, resulting in an elevated book concept, a tailored publishing roadmap, and a high-impact marketing plan.

Ultimately, I founded Bookbound to help aspiring nonfiction authors get published and launch their books with the greatest possible impact.
